All of our aquariums do have bladder, ramshorn, and/or trumpet snails in them, because snails are genuinely a vital part of a healthy aquatic ecosystem. They’re critical decomposers and help break down waste and aerate soil as well as remove algae. Since we try to keep our tanks as healthy as possible, we keep them in our tanks to ensure the health of our plants.

However, if you’re against these smaller pest snails, we now offer an anti-snail dip for your plants. With this add-on, we’ll thoroughly spray all your plants with our plant-safe but snail killing solution before shipping, which will kill all snail eggs and snails attached to your plants. It can be added into any order with live plants including floating plants.


IMPORTANT NOTES: We do NOT guarantee this add-on will absolutely remove 100% of snails and snail eggs. This is nature, so there are no absolutes and we can’t be sure every single trace of snails were removed. What we can promise is that this effectively kills snails on plants, and this is about the most effective way of removing snails.

This shouldn’t impact the survivability of plants in shipping and the plants do not need to be rinsed before adding to your tank.
